Pheromone lure for carob moth, Ectomyelois ceratoniae. Environmentally friendly, species specific mimic pheromone loaded in controlled release rubber septa dispenser lure.

Analysis of ISCAlure-Ceratoniae and other competitor carob moth lures have shown that the optimal pheromone loading or isomeric purity are not used in competitor lures, which is one of the causes for the lower efficacy and longevity of competitor lures. For more information about carob moth pheromone lure analysis, and the field efficacy and longevity of carob moth pheromone lures, please click here.

These are the same lures selected and deployed by leading date palm and almond agricultural entities and carob moth researchers, among them United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), United States Agency for International Development (USAID), University of California (UC) extension entomologists, Australia Department of Primary Industries (DPI) and Almond Board of Australia for monitoring and trapping programs for Ectomyelois ceratoniae.

The pheromone active ingredient of the ISCAlure-Ceratoniae pheromone lure is EPA registered and EPA NOP approved for organic production. It is the only carob moth pheromone lure which uses EPA registered and NOP approved pheromone active ingredient.
